Staff can use their Oakline dashboard and calendar to record clock-in and clock-out events. Oakline uses those events to calculate worked time, recorded breaks, estimated pay and holiday information.
For the wider staff workflow, see Staff management, timesheets and payroll preparation.
The staff dashboard shows current working information, including worked hours and estimated pay based on the recorded time and configured rate.
Oakline calculates the worked duration from the clock events and takes recorded breaks into account. Missing, duplicated or inaccurate clock events can affect the result, so providers should review the monthly report before using it for payroll preparation.
Estimated pay uses the applicable standard, leader or staff-specific hourly rate. The value is operational guidance for review; it is not a payslip and does not include every payroll, pension, tax or statutory adjustment an employer may need.
Oakline can calculate accrued holiday hours from recorded worked time and the holiday accrual percentage configured by the provider. Staff can see accrued, taken and remaining holiday information where the required records and settings are present.
Holiday entitlement rules depend on employment circumstances and law. The provider must verify the configured percentage and calculations with an appropriate payroll or employment professional.
Before export, check missing clock events, breaks, rates, holiday hours and any adjustment required outside Oakline.
