Overview

Oakline handles payments securely by leveraging Stripe, a world-class payment infrastructure provider. This ensures that sensitive financial data is never exposed to your school or our own servers.

How Payments Work

1. Stripe Processing: All online card payments are processed directly by Stripe.
2. No Card Storage: Oakline does not store credit card numbers, CVC codes, or expiry dates. We only store a secure reference (token) to the transaction.
3. PCI Compliance: Stripe is a PCI Service Provider Level 1 (the highest grade of payment processing security).

Handling Disputes

If a parent reports an issue with a payment:

• Check the Dashboard: Look up the booking in Oakline to see the transaction status.
• Check Stripe: Log in to your connected Stripe Express Dashboard to view detailed payment logs.
• Refunds: You can issue full or partial refunds directly from the Oakline dashboard.

Tips & Best Practices

• Never ask parents to email you their credit card details.
• Always use the official booking link for payments.
