The Monthly Session Report groups the current Financial Reports payment set by session. It helps providers understand which programmes generated the selected revenue and fees.
When All Months is selected, the same view becomes an annual session report for the selected year.
The summary uses the same cash-basis payment period and family filter as the main Financial Reports screen.
The session to which the qualifying booking payment was allocated. A record with no resolved session is shown as an unassigned session.
The number of distinct qualifying payment records allocated to the session.
The number of distinct booking records included for the session.
One parent checkout can pay for multiple children or dates. It is therefore normal for Bookings to be higher than Purchases.
The portion of qualifying payment revenue allocated to the session after recorded refund adjustments.
The portion of the Oakline platform fee allocated to that session. Cash fees use the Fee Bank debit attached to the original cash booking.
The portion of Stripe processing costs allocated to online payments for that session. Cash rows have no Stripe fee.
Gross Revenue minus Oakline Fees and Stripe Fees for the row.
Oakline first uses explicit booking-payment allocations when they completely explain the original payment.
For older payments without a complete allocation record, Oakline allocates revenue proportionally using the value of the linked bookings. Fees follow the corresponding payment or booking allocation ratio.
This fallback keeps historical transactions visible, but it can produce small rounding differences at row level. The total row remains tied to the filtered financial report.
If an online payment does not yet have a reconciled Stripe fee breakdown, Oakline can estimate the fee. The report displays a notice if at least one session row contains an estimate.
Once reconciliation completes, the report uses the recorded Stripe fee data.
Recorded booking refunds reduce the revenue allocated to the affected booking. Fees already charged can remain allocated as costs.
